How safe are my children whilst at Learning Academies?

The safeguarding of our students is of paramount importance to us. We take every possible measure to ensure their wellbeing and safety is met at all times. Learning Academies is a member of SAFE CIC and we ensure that all tutors hold a clear, enhanced DBS Check. These were formerly known as CRB checks. In addition, our lead tutors have completed OFSTED approved Paediatric First Aid Training.

All staff undertake Safeguarding Training and we have our own designated safeguarding leads. We always promote a culture whereby any member of the Learning Academies Team can make a direct referral, in accordance with current best practice.

iAchieve is an approved Learning Destination with the Essex Children’s University and an approved UK Learning Provider. Similarly, Learning Academies is a Gold Member of the Essex Safeguarding Board and is able to access training via Essex County Council.

We always maintain adequate public liability insurance cover and complete Risk Assessments at all our centres.
