Setting Up Your Personal Learning Academies Tuition Room
Once in your Zoom account, click on SCHEDULE A NEW MEETING and then complete fields in the exact same format as shown in the images below.
Be aware of the American date formatting
Tick/Check the box called RECURRING MEETING and NO FIXED TIME. The date and times will then disappear.
Do not click on the REQUIRE REGISTRATION button
Click PERSONAL MEETING ID XXXXX and REQUIRE PASSWORD. (Keep password simple)
Make sure VIDEO is turned on for both host and participant
Make sure BOTH is selected for AUDIO
Take care to select DIAL IN FROM THE UK (not USA) – please see yellow box below.
Make sure you enable WAITING ROOM
Click SAVE when you are happy.
STEP TWO: Share the ‘address’ and keys of your new Learning Academies Tuition Room.
Once you are certain your settings are correct (so they match those above) just click COPY INVITATION
Copy and Paste the information highlighted below and send it in an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
We’ll then send this information to the parents to share with your students.
